What’s included in the kit
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

- The acrylic windshield
The MadStad brackets replace the two fixed factory brackets and the MadStad windshield attaches to the brackets. With the shield separated from the bike you can adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position so you can ride in total comfort while looking over the shield not through it, even at highway speeds.
Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position.

HOW TO MEASURE: Sit on the bike while someone else holds a measuring tape up vertically from the center of the dashboard edge. While looking ahead determine where your chin level intersects the measuring tape.
Add 9″ or 10″ to this measurement, whichever gets you to an even number. For example, if your chin level is 12″ then you would order a 22″ windshield.
There are 2 inches of adjustment in our brackets so you can always move it up to find the cleanest pocket of air.
All MadStad windshields are made from 3/16″ (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic and are available in three different tint colors. Light Gray is similar to clear but has darker edges to eliminate glare from sunlight. See photos for comparison image.
