What’s included in the kit
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

Our adjustable brackets clip on and off of four slotted quick-release spools and lock on with two spring-loaded keys. You can adjust the shield for the optimum height, angle and airflow to get the comfort you need for you and your passenger. Our shield goes below the handlebars to give your body more wind protection and we can do this because our brackets let you tilt and lift the shield up and back to get into the front storage box when you need to. There are no compromises, just fantastic comfort and a sporty style that looks like it came from the factory.
Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.

These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position.
HOW TO MEASURE: Measure straight up from the handlebar clamp as you are sitting on the bike, and estimate about where your chin level is as you look straight ahead. Add eight inches and that will be the height of our windshield when it its lowest position. For example, the top of our 20 inch windshield will be 12″ above the handlebar clamp when in its lowest position. Our brackets have 3 inches of height range so you can go up from that point, however the idea is to set the windshield so you have a 2-3 inch view over the top.
